What we believe:

...we receive from God the forgiveness of sins; that is, that the Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, has taken upon Himself the curse of the law and borne it, atoned and paid for all our sins; that through Him alone we are restored to God's grace, obtain the forgiveness of sins through faith and are delivered from death and all the punishments of our sins and are saved eternally.

Our Vision for the immediate future...

We are a community of believers focused on sharing God’s Word, caring for others, and growing in faith and love for one another.

Some of our current Priorities for the future to fullfill our Vision...

Sharing God’s Word …

Establish an active and on-going out-reach effort within the community surrounding Emma, Missouri. Support this effort with activities and gatherings in our multi purpose building that would attract visitors from the community.

Suppport “specific” missions or missionaries through special offerings and projects and participate in the Synod wide Ablaze effort through “extra ordinary contributions” to missions.

Caring for one another...

Establish small (12-18 adults) House Church groups within the congregation where “all” members are encouraged to participate. The groups would study God’s word, provide support to each other when a member needs assistance (spiritual, physical, or emotional), and provide a social opportunity to have fun and feel good about their Christian family.

Growing  together in faith and love

Provide a Christian education for our members’ elementary school age children by financing the tuition to St. Paul’s or Trinity Lutheran Schools and provide partial tuition for St. Paul High School.

Provide “Christ Center” support for young parent (s) with children.  Possibilities include... Day Care & Pre School, after school “shepherding”, tutoring young people on selected subjects, and /or organize a social group for young parents.
